Modern Shooting Solutions: Firearms Training

Modern Shooting Solutions is a firearms training company in St. George, Utah run by Rustin Staheli, a former military and law enforcement professional. Staheli served on a combat deployment to Iraq and trained alongside Special Forces Green Berets, Army Rangers, Marine scout snipers, SWAT teams, and Delta Force operators. He's now an NRA-certified instructor teaching the surrounding communities of Washington, Hurricane, Cedar City, Ivins, and Santa Clara.

His core philosophy is simple: "No one is coming for you." Response times matter. Staheli built Modern Shooting Solutions to create a community of everyday people confident enough to handle their 2nd Amendment rights in dangerous situations—not someday, but now.

You don't need prior training or even a firearm to get started. Staheli designed the curriculum around what actually works in the field.

Pistol Training: - Introduction to Pistol Basics — 1.5 hours, $95. Exactly what it sounds like. - Basic Pistol Fundamentals & Safety — 2.5 hours, $225. The foundation class. - Finding the Right Pistol — 2.5 hours, $225. Trying different models to figure out what fits your hand and needs. - Low Light / Night Shooting — Loading days, $125. Because threats don't wait for daylight.

Carbine & Rifle: - Basic Carbine — $225. AR-15 and general rifle handling. - AR-15/Carbine & Pistol Cleaning — 2 hours, pricing varies. Maintenance you need to know.

Home & Self-Defense: - Home Defense Scenario Training — 2.5 hours, $225. Real-world house breach situations, not range theory.

Custom Options: - Private 1-on-1 Training — 1 hour starting, price varies. Mentorship-style instruction focused on your specific needs. - Corporate Events — 3 hours, pricing varies. Train your team.

Staheli gives back to the community. Teachers get free classroom instruction plus pistol rentals. You only pay for ammunition (buy through him or bring your own). :::
