ChesBay Arms operates out of Great Bridge in Chesapeake with a deep inventory of handguns, rifles, and more. They stock established brands including Glock, Sig Sauer, Taurus, Springfield, Smith & Wesson, and many others—both new and used.

You can browse and buy in-store or online. The shop accepts transfers from other FFLs, making it straightforward if you've found something elsewhere and want to complete the purchase locally.

ChesBay runs hands-on classes beyond just selling guns:

• •Concealed Carry Classes – Covers firearm safety, Virginia state laws, and real-world scenarios. Certified instructors walk you through whether you're a first-time carrier or meeting permit requirements.
• •Firearm Cleaning Classes – Learn disassembly, cleaning techniques, lubrication, and storage. All tools and materials provided; bring your firearm and willingness to learn.
