Wilcox JOAD Archery Club

Wilcox JOAD Archery Club is an official USA Archery club located in Newport News, Virginia, dedicated to teaching archery to young people through the Junior Olympic Archery Development (JOAD) program.

Wilcox JOAD Archery Club provides comprehensive archery instruction and competition opportunities for youth archers of all skill levels. As part of the nationwide USA Archery JOAD program, the club combines recreational enjoyment with formal competitive training.

• •Beginner Instruction: Explore Archery introductory programs for those new to the sport
• •Progressive Training: Certified coaches guide archers through skill development at their own pace
• •Competitive Events: JOAD Pin shoots held monthly (3rd week of each month)
• •All Disciplines: Training available across multiple archery disciplines
• •Equipment Access: Rental equipment available for those trying archery before purchasing their own gear

The club is staffed by four Level 3 NTS (National Training System) certified coaches: - Steve Dello Russo (Coach/Instructor) - Steve Weisbrod (Coach/Instructor) - Greg Dudley (Coach) - Dave Kiss (Coach)

• •Wednesday evenings: 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
• •Friday evenings: 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM
• •New shooters: Appointment-only on Thursdays at 6:00 PM
