Full description and what we offer
Tactical Training Academy focuses on what happens after you draw—the legal, psychological, and tactical reality of using force. Their Intro to Lethal Force class ($50, 4 hours) doesn't require you to own a firearm or bring one. It covers WA state use of force law, weapon calibers and terminal ballistics, the psychological cost of killing, and attack behavior recognition through interactive scenarios.
Their business clients foot the bill to keep this low cost for community members. One class covers the basics; advancing students can join the strike team membership program.
This is their core offering—a 12-month commitment where 6-8 people train together monthly on advanced tactics:
Year One: Handgun Combatives - Fundamentals under stress - Building clearing and CQB - Vehicle engagement - Low-light operations - Movement and threat recognition - Retention and ground survival - Force-on-force scenario training
Members get classroom instruction, live drills, force-on-target exercises, and force-on-force simulations—the same methods elite military and LEO teams use. Teams share meals, study curriculum together, and complete assigned homework. All training equipment is provided for Year One.
Tactical Training Academy isn't a shooting range or a retail operation. They focus on the decision-making and stress response side of armed defense. Their instructors openly address the psychological weight of lethal force—not the technical stuff most ranges cover. Membership requires a 12-month commitment because they're building teams, not just running drop-in classes.

The Intro to Lethal Force class is a prerequisite for strike team membership and is open to anyone—civilians, law enforcement, and military.
