## 1,100 Acres of Dedicated Shooting Range Near Benton City, WA
The Tri-Cities Shooting Association operates Rattlesnake Mountain Shooting Facility, drawing competition shooters from the Tri-Cities area, across Washington, surrounding states, and Canada. This is one of the most extensive recreational shooting facilities in the Pacific Northwest.
The facility spans 1,100 acres of fenced land administered by Benton County, with property belonging to the Washington Department of Fish & Wildlife and the U.S. Bureau of Land Management.

Closed Christmas Day and New Year's Day.
Two main entrances serve different facilities. Use Milepost 7.75 for Rose-Iris, plinking ranges, hunter education, and cowboy town. Use Milepost 8.45 for shotgun range, primitive range, and 1000-yard high-power range.
Non-members pay $10 daily usage fee plus target fees. For shooters coming more than a few times per year, annual membership is cost-effective. Membership types and fees are available in the current Membership Classifications document.

The dedicated Hunter Education range opened July 2011. Classes are taught by a team led by Chief Instructor Mike Patello and registered through City of Richland Parks and Recreation Department.

Shooting is NOT allowed without a trained Range Safety Officer present providing safety oversight.
All shooters must check in with the duty RSO before handling firearms. Key safety requirements include:
The Tri-Cities Shooting Association is a volunteer-run 501(c)(3) nonprofit affiliated with the National Rifle Association and the Civilian Marksmanship Program. TCSA has operational control of the ranges and provides trained Range Safety Officers for all public shooting activities. The organization manages RMSF under a lease/concessionaire agreement with Benton County. Donations are tax-deductible.
Rattlesnake Mountain Shooting Facility is located in Benton City, WA, approximately 8 miles northwest of Richland. Organizations may reserve special-purpose ranges by submitting a Range Use Request form.
