Allan Koffler opened AK Outdoors in July 2020 after a decade learning the outdoor retail business from the ground up. Born and raised in central Wisconsin, Koffler served as a demolition expert in the Marine Corps before transitioning through management roles at local outdoor specialty shops. When construction shut down his previous employer, he saw it as the moment to build something himself.
