The core of the operation is custom gunsmithing work. Pricing is transparent and straightforward:

All used firearms are thoroughly cleaned and inspected before sale. Current consignment inventory includes everything from .22 rimfire rifles ($100-$550) to competition-grade pistols ($1,000+). They source new inventory through partnerships with Davidson's, Zanders, Primary Arms, Silencer Shop, Strike Industries, and Aero Precision.

If you want to sell a firearm, Semper Smithing handles the entire process:
- •Consignment fee: 20% of selling price
- •Process: They inspect, grade condition, write descriptions, and handle all marketing
- •Payment: Net proceeds paid within 30 days via business check
- •Termination: Cleaning and inspection fees apply if you pull your item

Semper Smithing participates in Live Today Put it Away, a suicide prevention initiative designed by the Gun Shop Project. Wisconsin loses over 800 people per year to suicide, with 1 in 5 being a veteran. 70% of veteran suicides and 50% of non-veteran suicides in Wisconsin involve firearms.
- •The shop offers free, indefinite firearm storage for anyone in crisis. Retrieve your firearm anytime—you'll fill out a 4473 form and pass a background check per ATF requirements, but there's zero cost for the storage service itself. This is genuine community work, not marketing.
