Wisconsin's Online CCW Loophole

Suburban Carry discovered and publicized Wisconsin's unique path to getting a CCW permit entirely online. The DNR's online-only hunter education course (available since the pandemic) counts as firearms training for CCW applicants—but it covers nothing about actual concealed carry law, reciprocity, or where you can legally carry.

Their $30 online info class fills that gap. Combine it with the DNR's $34.50 hunter ed course and you've got everything needed for a Wisconsin CCW permit at just $64.50 total—cheaper than an in-person class and entirely online (with a caveat: certificates arrive with a month delay).
