Goshen County Sportsman Club in Torrington operates six dedicated shooting facilities covering trap, skeet, pistol, rifle, rimfire, and archery. The club hosts year-round competitive matches and welcomes both recreational shooters and serious competitors.

Border Wars event draws competitors from multiple states. High school trap matches also held annually.

Membership runs August 1 through July 31 each year. Single and family memberships cost $115 per year (plus 3.9% credit card fee = $120). Dues must be paid within 60 days of the new membership year. Members age 18+ can bring outside guests for a $5 day fee.

1. Must be 18 years or older 2. All Goshen County residents using the range must maintain membership 3. Daylight hours only (unless board-approved special event) 4. All shots from approved firing lines 5. No hunting on club grounds 6. Automatic firearms prohibited without board approval

  • Food & Beverage - Available during match events (trap league includes food/drink)

Beyond competitive shooting, GCSC offers hunter safety courses and functions as a recreational destination for families. The club maintains an active calendar with matches, training events, and open house opportunities throughout the year.
