Full description and what we offer
Laramie Rifle Range has served southeast Wyoming's shooting community since 1986. Located at 7,400 feet elevation, the range operates as a member-owned facility with eleven different ranges supporting everything from air guns and pistols to long-range precision rifles shooting out to 1200 yards.
Members enjoy year-round access from 30 minutes before sunrise to 30 minutes after sunset. New members must attend an orientation meeting before their first use—no exceptions. Life memberships are available for $1,800.
"We have open membership with no membership caps and members get full access year round. Great prices on family and individual memberships."
Public access is limited to scheduled sight-in days, special events, and competitions. The 100-yard range opens to the public Saturdays and Sundays, September through late October during hunting season ($10/day).
Laramie offers specialized instruction across multiple disciplines:
Regular tournaments include NRA-approved 600-yard prone competitions and the Laramie Precision Rifle Rodeo. Check the event calendar for dates and registration.
Neighboring states welcome; membership open to anyone with no caps.
