North Alabama Regulators runs a cowboy action shooting club focused on preserving the sport and its Old West traditions. They're affiliated with the Single Action Shooting Society (SASS), an international organization dedicated to promoting this family-oriented shooting sport.

The club's mission centers on four core principles:

•Promoting cowboy action shooting as a competitive sport
•Preserving and communicating Old West traditions
•Building sportsmanship through honesty, good fellowship, self-discipline, and team play
•Teaching safe firearms handling in a competitive environment
•Making shooting sports accessible to families

Matches run on the first Sunday of each month, with registration from 8:15–8:45 a.m. and the shooter meeting at 9:00 a.m.

Members get a $5 discount per shoot, plus the Member's Appreciation Match in April shoots free—another $15 saved annually.

Visitors are always welcome. The club connects newcomers with experienced shooters who mentor on equipment, shooting categories, and technique. The SASS Shooters Handbook and SASS Wire are primary resources for getting started.

North Alabama Regulators hosts the SASS Alabama State Championship and Southeast Regional Championship.
