Madison County Shooting Sports Association is a nonprofit, NRA-affiliated shooting club dedicated to promoting the shooting sports through safe and comfortable recreational opportunities. Located in New Market, Alabama, MCSSA serves both competitive shooters and recreational enthusiasts.
The club features comprehensive shooting infrastructure:
- •Three Skeet Fields - For clay target skeet shooting
- •Three Trap Fields - For trap shooting competitions and practice
- •Covered 50-Yard Pistol Range - Protected pistol shooting with multiple lanes
- •Range Matches & Competitions - Regular scheduled events for members
Public Access: - Available Saturdays and Sundays, 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM (excluding Christmas and New Year's Day weekends)
Member Access: - Open 7:00 AM - 9:00 PM daily - Extended hours and additional privileges for membership
MCSA provides a climate-controlled clubhouse featuring:
- •Chilled water and restrooms
- •Refrigerator and microwave
- •Beverages available for purchase (sodas and bottled water)
- •Picnic tables for gatherings
- •Barbecue pit for member events
