Location details and information
Ketchikan Rod and Gun Club is a nonprofit shooting range in Ketchikan, Alaska, with rifle, pistol, shotgun, and archery facilities.
The club operates a separate rifle and pistol range along with a shotgun range used for skeet shooting, plus a clubhouse on site. The range is home to the Ketchikan Junior Shotgun League and has hosted local shooting sports competitions, including turkey shoots.
The club moved from an open-to-the-public range to a members-only model after an insurance carrier required a full-time range safety officer on site during any open public hours, a cost the nonprofit club could not sustain. Use of the range now requires club membership.
