Full description and what we offer
Phoenix Rod & Gun Club operates as one of the most accessible competitive shooting facilities in the Valley of the Sun, located at the base of South Mountain directly next to the Phoenix Police Academy. For nearly 90 years, they've been the hub for serious shooters in Arizona.

Membership provides reduced match fees and unrestricted range access. Non-members can shoot public range weekends (7am-noon) or participate in most matches at higher fees. Annual events include the PRGC Swap Meet and firearms-related swap meets in the region.
Located at the base of South Mountain, right next door to the Phoenix Police Academy, PRGC is one of the most accessible ranges in the Valley.
All matches are NRA-sanctioned and follow NRA/CMP rules. The club requires all members and guests to fill out safety waivers when using facilities. Regular maintenance includes keeping steel gongs painted and maintained for shooter use.
Shooters new to competitive disciplines can observe matches before participating. For High Power, watching a full XTC match first is recommended. The club emphasizes beginner-friendly CMP Games format for those new to military rifle shooting. Air Pistol program welcomes juniors and collegiate shooters with training and support opportunities.
