Oak Tree- California Gun Girls

Oak Tree Gun Club is Southern California's most complete shooting venue, located at 23121 Coltrane Ave in Newhall, CA. Founded in 1973 by Booge Mercer as a private trap and skeet club, it has evolved into a world-class public shooting facility spanning 100 acres of privately owned land between Interstate 5 and the Santa Susana Mountains.

The facility features multiple specialized ranges:

Oak Tree provides firearms rentals including pistols, rifles, shotguns, and bows. Professional bow technician services are available, and the facility offers NSSF-certified beginner pistol instruction through the First Shots program. Monthly 3-Gun rifle competitions provide competitive opportunities for all skill levels.

Two professional pro shops stock firearms, ammunition, shooting accessories, clothing, and safes. The Beretta Gallery retail outlet features premium Italian firearms. Direct manufacturer relationships enable special orders, and the on-site reloading center and warehouse ensure broad merchandise selection.

The facility includes FFL firearms transfer services and a signature bar and grill for post-shooting relaxation. Law enforcement agencies throughout the region train at Oak Tree, and the range has been featured in television shows including Entourage, NCIS, and The Rock of Love.
