Aegis Authority LP operates as a firearms training and consulting operation founded on one principle: encouragement and skill-building. Julie and Steve have been in the shooting industry for over 20 years and hold certifications that matter—California DOJ Certified Firearms Instructors, California Department of Justice Certified CCW Instructors, POST Certified Firearms Instructors, and Certified Concealed Weapons Licence Vendors across San Bernardino, Los Angeles, and Riverside counties.

The name itself tells the story. In Greek and Roman mythology, the Aegis was the absolute best form of protection for the gods. Julie and Steve built their instruction philosophy around the "warrior ethos"—the understanding that competence comes from cumulative training, physical fitness, first aid, communications, and decision-making under pressure. This isn't range time for the sake of range time; it's building capability.

They're particularly strong in women's firearms instruction. Their women's defensive workshops create safe, nonjudgmental spaces where women can improve marksmanship, ask questions, and build community—something most ranges don't prioritize.
