Fresno Rifle and Pistol Club

Fresno Rifle and Pistol Club has been operating since 1934 on 220 acres at the base of the Sierra foothills, 15 minutes from both Fresno and Clovis. It's an outdoor recreational shooting facility open to the public, built around a simple mission: provide a safe, comfortable environment for shooters of all levels.

FRPC hosts five dedicated clubs that hold monthly matches:

• •Central California Pistol League – IPSC and USPSA-affiliated practical shooting with emphasis on safe handling and sportsmanship
• •Kings River Regulators – Competitive cowboy action shooting with categories for all skill levels
• •Fresno High Power – Long-range target shooting with prone courses and F-Class targets; NRA-approved matches Sept–June
• •Sierra Pistol Club – Metallic silhouette shooting; bi-monthly public matches
• •Smoking Thunder Muzzle Loaders – Black powder fellowship and competition (founded 2014)

Multiple ranges serve both members and public shooters. Distances span from 60 to 980 yards, with dedicated shotgun bays and pistol stations. Members access all facilities; public shooters use designated ranges.

FRPC offers structured firearm instruction including NRA training, CCW courses, and basic firearm classes. Staff provide range support and guidance for first-time shooters.
