Santa Lucia Sportsmen's Association

Private, members-only sportsmen's club in Atascadero, CA, not open to the public, offering shotgun, rifle, pistol, and archery disciplines. Shotgun programs include trap and skeet, a junior shotgun program, and the SLSA Mudslide. Rifle programs cover varmint rifle, black powder, high power rifle, and a Templeton 4H rifle program; pistol shooters have a dedicated CCW practice program.

The club runs GALS clinics and hunter education courses, and maintains a corps of NRA Range Safety Officers who oversee range use. Access is restricted to members and their guests — a member may host up to two guests at a time, and each guest must be an adult who signs a liability release before shooting. Membership dues and donations fund the club's advocacy work defending gun-owner rights in California.
