South Bay Rod & Gun Club, Inc. is a private, non-profit shooting club established in 1955, located in the rural foothills east of Dulzura, California. The club operates a comprehensive facility with five supervised shooting ranges serving rifle, pistol, and shotgun enthusiasts of all skill levels.
The club maintains five distinct ranges:
All ranges feature shade covers over firing lines and include restroom facilities. Ranges 3 and 6 have cold beverage machines available.
South Bay Rod & Gun Club offers specialized instruction including CMP Highpower Rifle training, Women on Target programs, Junior Rifle Training, America's Rifle Challenge competitions, Shotgun New Shooter Clinics, and Range Officer certification courses.
The club is a members-only facility offering both daily and annual membership options. Annual members shoot free, while daily memberships are $30 for adults and $15 for juniors (through age 17). Annual membership is $125. The range operates year-round, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily, weather permitting.
Located at 1020 Marron Valley Road, the facility sits on designated wildlife refuge property home to quail, bobcat, coyote, and deer. The club offers facility rentals for law enforcement, military units, and approved groups. Paper targets and trap/clay rounds are available for purchase on-site.
