Cactus Flats Shooting Range

Cactus Flats Shooting Range is a public-access gun range located near Penrose, Colorado, just east of Canon City and conveniently situated between Colorado Springs and Pueblo. This full-service shooting facility welcomes both members and non-members to enjoy diverse shooting sports.

Cactus Flats features multiple shooting disciplines across well-maintained ranges:

From the intersection of Highway 50 and 67, proceed north to County Road 123, then turn right and drive a few hundred yards to the range entrance. The facility is just a short drive from both Colorado Springs and Pueblo.

Open Thursday through Sunday, 11 AM until dusk. The range is open to the public without membership requirements, though yearly individual ($150) and family ($200) memberships are available for discounted rates. Range fees are affordable and competitive, with trap and skeet starting at $7 for members and $9 for non-members. Shotgun rentals and ammunition are available on-site.
