Sullivan Coatings is owned and operated by Ryan Sullivan, a veteran who brings precision rifle competition experience to professional firearm finishing. Located in Fountain between Pueblo and Colorado Springs, the shop specializes in factory-certified Cerakote applications—the industry standard for corrosion and chemical resistance.
Every firearm goes through a meticulous multi-stage process:
1. Complete disassembly and degreasing 2. Sandblasting to bare metal 3. Oven baking to off-gas oils 4. Cerakote application in climate-controlled paint booth 5. Precision curing at temperature-specific settings
This approach ensures protection that actually lasts, not just surface decoration.
- •Cerakote Elite Series — The toughest option. Air-cure coating with extreme corrosion and chemical resistance. Applies thinner, allowing single-coat coverage on internal parts. Leaves a low-friction finish that rivals Teflon. Six earth-tone colors.
- •Cerakote H Series — The popular choice. Lab-tested durability with hundreds of color options including custom and camo patterns. Works on pistols, rifles, shotguns, and non-firearm items. Single or multiple coats available depending on wear expectations.
- •Cerakote C Series — High-temperature rated to 400°F. Air-cured ceramic coating for extreme heat applications.

Ships nationwide to FFL holders. Handguns require overnight or 2-day guaranteed shipping (UPS/FedEx only). Include completed order form, state ID copy, and any relevant licenses (FFL/CHL/LTC) with shipment.
