On Target Sports

On Target Sports is a veteran-owned, full-service firearms dealer and the only full tactical-capable indoor training facility in North Florida. They combine a serious retail operation with a shooting range designed for real-world training scenarios—not just paper punching.

The range itself is 12 lanes wide and 25 yards long, climate-controlled with an unmatched ventilation and lead filtration system. This matters: shooters consistently mention it's not a sweatbox like most indoor ranges. You can shoot any handgun and most rifles up to (but not including) .50 BMG.

The standout feature is the Meggitt XWT target retrieval system—computer touch screen controlled, it can make your target run toward you or rotate a full 360 degrees for realistic force-on-force training scenarios. There's a customer lounge with large safety observation windows if you need to watch without shooting.

As a Class III dealer, On Target Sports handles suppressors, short-barrel rifles (SBRs), and other NFA items. They stock a huge selection in-house. The Silencer Shop Kiosk handles the entire federal tax stamp process: electronic filing, photo submission, fingerprint scanning, and background submission—all one stop.

OTS offers several scheduled classes:

• •Basic Handgun Class — $99. Covers grip, stance, target acquisition, trigger control. Taught by instructors like Mark (patient, detailed) and Douglas (passionate about fundamentals)
• •Ladies Only Basic Handgun — $99. Same curriculum, women-only environment
• •Concealed Weapons License Class — $55. State and ATF regulations for carrying concealed
