Down Range LLC opened in 2013 with a straightforward mission: teach people to handle firearms safely and effectively. Matt Gerard, the owner, brings 18 years of law enforcement and 15 years on a local SWAT sniper team to every class he runs. That's not fluff—it matters.

Instructor: Matthew Gerard (NTOA certified). Live fire in Rockford and Rochelle area. Requires precision rifle capable of 1 MOA or better, match ammunition, data book. - Enhanced Police Sniper — Advanced certification track. - Force on Force Decision Making — $150. Medical/Emergency - Emergency Bleed Response (Stop the Bleed) — $100. 2-hour hands-on course. Covers hemorrhage control, tourniquets, wound packing, pressure points, hemostatic agents. All materials included. March 14, 2025. - Enhanced Emergency Bleed Response — Extended medical response training.
