Their instructors hold numerous certifications and follow a philosophy that separates them from most ranges: they teach the how and why. Customers notice immediately. "The true focus of this gun shop is not selling firearms, but educating every single customer who walks through the door and making their individual experience memorable." — Kevin P
Their model is reversed from most shops. Equipment comes second to knowledge. Matt and his team ask questions, listen to what you actually need, then recommend accordingly. First-time buyers get the same detailed attention as experienced shooters. One student who came in skeptical about red dots left as a convert. Another never-fired-before student qualified and outshot experienced students.
Instructors don't just teach tactics—they teach why those tactics work, grounded in real-world experience and science. Students report walking away confident, not confused.
When you sign up, you're learning from people who actually use these skills operationally. Matthew Gerard doesn't teach sniper work from a manual—he led a regional SWAT sniper team. The CCW instructors are state-certified. Everyone involved stands behind every firearm and tactic they offer. That's not marketing language—multiple customers specifically mention this.
Register online or contact Matt directly for course details, rentals, or questions. Classes fill up, especially the Illinois CCW certification.
