Frankfort Sportsman Club

Frankfort Sportsman Club, located in Mokena, Illinois, has promoted shotgun sports and safe firearms use since it was founded in 1947. It is a members-only club serving shooters from Chicago, the Chicago suburbs, and Northwest Indiana.

The club runs trap and skeet fields along with a five-stand course, which is set up with two separate courses to suit both beginner and experienced shooters. Skeet houses have been resided and the skeet throwers upgraded as part of ongoing facility improvements.

The club organizes a fall all-discipline shotgun league covering 16-yard and 24-yard trap, full-doubles trap, wobble trap, skeet, and five-stand, scored under the Lewis Class system. New shooters can book a private one-on-one session with an experienced club shooter, using the pattern board to work on stance, gun mounting, and shot placement. The clubhouse is also available for corporate and group shooting events, including use of the space for meetings or presentations.
