Top Shot Firearms operates as an approved FFL dealer specializing in firearms transfers. Whether you're buying from another dealer or a private seller, they handle the paperwork and logistics to get your firearm legally into your hands.

Transfer Services: - Long guns: $30 - Handguns: $30 - Shipping fee: $45 (plus actual carrier costs) - Can transfer FROM your location TO any FFL nationwide - Can receive transfers FROM any FFL or private seller

They accept transfers to all states, including California and can ship nationwide via USPS, UPS, or FedEx with tracking and insurance.

  • For incoming transfers: Seller provides their FFL copy (if dealer) or clear ID copy (if private), plus fax or email. Top Shot handles Michigan legal compliance and all federal paperwork.
  • For outgoing transfers: You provide the receiving FFL's license and contact info. They package, insure, and ship Monday-Friday with email confirmation and tracking.

All firearms must be Michigan legal. No fully automatic weapons. If a firearm arrives without a lock, you must provide one and a receipt for their paperwork.

  • Local handgun transfers: Both buyer and seller must be present. Buyer needs a Michigan purchase permit or CPL/MCOLES certification.

To purchase firearms in person, you'll need: - Valid Michigan ID - Age 18+ for long guns, 21+ for handguns - Pass background check - Purchase permit from local police (unless you have CPL or MCOLES)
