ProTEQ Firearms Academy

ProTEQ Firearms Academy operates a 60-acre, privately owned shooting facility located 4 miles northwest of Brazil, Indiana. The range is divided into six connected valleys, each developed as multi-use shooting bays with different capabilities and specializations.

Membership grants access to one or more of these areas:

• •West Valley — Pistol, rifle, and shotgun training in one setup
• •South Valley — Combat Arts Range (C.A.R.), Law Enforcement/Military Range, .22 Rimfire Range, Wide Line Rifle Range, and Multi-Purpose Range (65 yards × 20 yards, 270-degree targeting)
• •Long Distance Range (LDR) — Berms at 300, 400, and 500 yards with steel plates and paper target backing; requires qualification test before use
• •NRL22 Valley — 10 competition lanes up to 200+ yards for precision .22 rimfire; monthly matches held 4th Saturday ($20 entry)
• •Steel Valley — SCSA Steel Challenge Practice Facility with 7 of 8 target arrays permanently installed ($70/year standalone membership)
• •Private Training Range (PTR) — Dedicated one-on-one instruction area

1-on-1 training: $60/hour | Group training: $50/hour per student

All memberships are 365-day annual passes. One-day passes available for West Valley only. Every adult (18+) must have current, complete, paid paperwork—no exceptions, no guests.

ProTEQ enforces four foundational safety rules:

1. Assume all guns are loaded 2. Point the gun in a safe direction 3. Keep your finger off the trigger until ready to shoot 4. Be sure of the target

"Fail to follow ProTEQ Rules and Regulations... YOU will be removed from the property."

• •Strict cleanup policy: Pick up your brass and clean your mess or face permanent ban. No exceptions, no second chances.

• •Ammunition restrictions: No armor-piercing ammo anywhere on property (no green tip, tungsten core, steel pin). Violations result in firearm impoundment and full damage payment before return.
