About Hays City Sportsmen's Club
Hays City Sportsmen's Club is a well-established shooting facility serving the Hays, Kansas community and surrounding regions since 1977. Located at 5810 230th Ave in Hays, the club provides comprehensive shooting sports opportunities for recreational shooters, competitive athletes, and those seeking professional instruction.
Shooting Activities
The club operates multiple specialized ranges to accommodate various shooting disciplines:
- •Trap Shooting - Full trap league operations with seasonal scheduling (November-March: 1st and 3rd Sundays, 1:00 PM - 3:30 PM)
- •Skeet Shooting - Dedicated skeet range for clay target shooting
- •Pistol Range - Separate pistol range facilities with strict firearm restrictions
- •Rifle Range - Dedicated rifle shooting area
- •Concealed Carry Instruction - Professional CCW classes offered
- •Youth Shooting Sports Programs - Including 4-H shooting sports and annual youth outdoor fest
