Hillsdale Range & Training Facility

Hillsdale Range & Training Facility is a full-service outdoor shooting range located at 26719 Toe Rd. in Paola, serving shooters of all skill levels with diverse shooting disciplines and professional training.

• •Rifle Shooting: 17 dedicated lanes at 100 yards and 6 lanes at 200 yards for precision rifle work
• •Pistol Shooting: Multiple lanes at 15, 25, and 50 yards for handgun training and practice
• •Trap Shooting: Professional trap fields for clay target shooting
• •Skeet Shooting: Two combination trap/skeet fields for dynamic clay target sports
• •Simulator Training: Indoor pistol and rifle simulator training with professional coaching available

The facility features a 125-person meeting room available for private events, team-building exercises, and special gatherings. Brass is available for purchase on-site, and the range is managed by experienced staff.

Hillsdale operates seasonally with adjusted hours for summer and winter conditions: - Summer Hours (mid-March through October): Friday–Sunday, 11 am–7 pm - Winter Hours (November through early March): Friday–Sunday, 11 am–5 pm

The range is closed during inclement weather when temperatures drop below 45°F or during snow/ice conditions. State park vehicle day passes are required ($5, or annual pass accepted).

2026 memberships are now available with limited availability. Gate fees are $20 for rifle/pistol ranges (youth 15 and under free). Trap and skeet shooting costs $9 per round for non-members ($7 for members). Simulator training with coaching is $20 per hour, plus $5 per additional person.
