Sportsman's Training Center sits on beautifully landscaped grounds outside Augusta with two champion-level 12-station sporting clays courses. The courses rotate stations at least once monthly—meaning you never shoot the same layout twice. The grounds stay well-maintained and easy to navigate.
- •Sporting Clays - Targets thrown from various distances and angles to simulate hunting situations: ducks, pheasants, quail, even rabbits. Perfect for hunters practicing in any season.
- •5 Stand - Shoot 25 birds from five stations, rotating between each one. Six to eight automatic traps simulate game birds with multiple difficulty levels built in. You'll run 50 targets in half the time compared to traditional courses.
- •Trap Shooting - Clay birds thrown from a single house at center front. The machine moves left to right, so you never know which direction the clay's traveling until you call for it. Beginner-friendly because of that predictability.
- •Archery Walk - Quarter mile of tree-covered lanes with 5 lanes and crossbow-rated 3D targets. Rabbits to caribou at varying distances (30-70 yards). One lane includes a simulated archery stand.
Solo shooting works here. They run an automated system that throws targets after you press the trap release button—no need for a crew.

They stock branded apparel (STC hoodies, t-shirts, hats), custom vests in black and grey, RE Ranger protective eyewear, and custom-fit ear protection that blocks harmful noise while letting you hear range activity. Custom vest consultation available.

All shooters must sign a waiver before shooting. Download the STC Sporting Clays Waiver & Release form from their website and bring it completed, or fill one on-site.
- •Shotgun rentals available if you don't have your own.
- •Ammunition specs: Target loads only (1/2 oz. through 1-1/8 oz. depending on gauge). Shot sizes 7.5, 8, 8.5, or 9 only. Dram equivalent no greater than 3 ¼.
