Blue Hill Rifle and Pistol Club

Blue Hill Rifle & Pistol Club is a private, nonprofit shooting club located in Blue Hill, Maine, serving shooting enthusiasts since 1946. This established member-focused facility offers a welcoming community atmosphere with experienced members dedicated to helping shooters of all skill levels develop their expertise.

The club operates a comprehensive shooting facility with multiple ranges:

• •Indoor Pistol Range - Renovated facility for target shooting, accessible via key card after qualification and orientation
• •Outdoor Pistol Range - Available daily from 9:00 AM to sunset
• •Outdoor Rifle Range - Available daily from 9:00 AM to sunset

Blue Hill Rifle & Pistol Club hosts a diverse array of shooting sports throughout the year:

• •Running and Standing Deer - Rifle competitions
• •Turkey Shoot - Seasonal event

The Lock Stock and Barrel is an affiliated 4-H Youth Club (ages 9-19) offering shooting sports instruction in rifle, shotgun, archery, and black powder. The program meets Wednesday evenings from 6-8 PM (September through May).

The Fall Shoot/Open House held the third Sunday of October is a family-friendly event featuring various shooting sports, archery for children, food, and instruction from experienced members.

Membership includes access to all ranges following qualification requirements. The club house features restrooms and refreshment facilities accessible 24/7 via key card. Monthly business meetings are held the second Monday of each month at 6:30 PM.
