North American Rod & Gun Club sits on nearly 180 acres in Hagerstown and has been a fixture for serious shooters since 1939. It's a member-owned operation that takes safety and community seriously—new members must be sponsored by two current members, pass a board vote, and complete a mandatory range safety class before they can touch a gun.
Shooting Ranges: - Rifle and pistol ranges (open dawn to dusk for members) - Archery range - Skeet and trap fields (Saturday mornings) - Sporting clays (every other Sunday, open to public) - Still target range (20-yard, shotgun-specific)
Facilities: - Full clubhouse with kitchen and bar - Meeting rooms - Picnic areas

"Trap and skeet leagues operate on a regular basis and the Club hosts a variety of open competitive rifle, pistol and shotgun events."
Annual Cost: - Dues: $60 - Assessment: $100 - Initiation fee: $50 (new members only) - Keycard fee: $5 (new members only)
Requirements: - Must be 21+, U.S. citizen - Sponsored by two current members - Unanimous board approval + membership vote - Range safety class attendance (annually for new members, every other year for current members)
Guest Policy: - $10 per guest per day - Must be accompanied by a range-qualified member at all times - Guest hunting not permitted
Clubhouse: - Thursday–Friday: 12pm–10pm - Saturday: 11am–10pm - Sunday: 11am–6pm - Closed Monday–Wednesday
Kitchen: - Thursday–Friday: 12pm–8pm - Saturday: 12pm–7pm - Sunday: 12pm–6pm
They also participate in the Greater Good 50/50—a statewide weekly raffle supporting Maryland nonprofits. Buy tickets online and support the club.
