Frear specializes in custom 1911 construction using Caspian slide and frame sets—known for quality, customization options, and the ability to select your own serial number. Each 1911 is built as a one-of-a-kind project tailored to the client's specifications.

For rifle work, he focuses on re-barreling and customization of bolt action platforms including Remington, Sako, Ruger, Browning, Nesika, Kelbly's Atlas, Howa, and FN.
