Cape Cod Fish and Game Association has been operating since 1939—that's 81 years of serving shooters, hunters, archers, and anglers on Cape Cod. Located in Harwich just off Route 6 Exit 9, this nonprofit organization (501c7) is a working club with real facilities and a membership-driven operation.
The club sits on grounds with:
Electronic FOB access system installed in 2017. Indoor Range access requires completing an Orientation Safety Class.
Every month on the third Tuesday at 6:45 PM, the club offers firearms safety certification courses required for a Massachusetts License to Carry. Cost: $80 plus $5 e-payment fee. Instructors are NRA Certified and state-qualified.
Scheduled dates run monthly through December 2025—sign up on their website.

Both single and family memberships available. New members must complete 4 hours of volunteer work within 90 days of joining.
Application process: 1. Submit New Member Application (online or PDF by mail) 2. Pay yearly dues + initiation fee + $10 FOB fee 3. Meet with Membership Committee for interview 4. Attend next Club Dinner Meeting for orientation

FOB Gate Access: - Approach pink pedestal at front gate, place FOB against reader (turns green) - Gate opens; proceed through and allow it to close - Same process for exit
Door Access: - Place FOB against reader and PULL door within a few seconds - Access levels programmed per membership type - Indoor Range access requires completion of safety orientation class
Power Outage Protection: - Gate runs on 12V DC battery (continuously recharged) - Clubhouse doors have dual redundant power supplies - Indoor Range cannot be used during power outages (safety/ventilation concerns)

This is an active club run by shooters for shooters. The board includes specialists—archery directors, steel range coordinators, IDPA match organizers, fishing derby planners. It's not a commercial range; it's a community where members volunteer, cook dinners, run matches, and maintain facilities together.
