Full description and what we offer
Founded in 1952, Houghton Lake Sportsmen's Club operates as a family-friendly, non-profit organization dedicated to shooting and archery. Membership dues, private donations, and annual fundraisers support the club's operations and mission.
The club maintains two locations:
Spring Gun Show, Summer Membership Appreciation BBQ, Fall Halloween Party, November Deer Rifle Sight-In-Days, December Christmas Party
Membership meetings are open to the public and held on the first Monday of each month (6:00 PM social hour, 7:00 PM meeting). New members are welcome—just arrive at 6:00 PM with a membership application. Ranges and facilities are restricted to members and their authorized guests only.
The HLSC promotes fellowship, good sportsmanship, wildlife conservation, responsible hunting practices, and civic responsibility. The club actively supports the Second Amendment in principle and practice.
