Sparta Hunting & Fishing Club

Sparta Hunting & Fishing Club (SHFC) is a comprehensive sportsmen's facility in Sparta, Michigan, offering a rare combination of shooting ranges and fishing access in one membership.

SHFC operates multiple shooting disciplines across professional-grade ranges:

• •Trap Shooting - Three dedicated trap ranges available to the public on Thursdays and Sundays; members' children can participate in the Clay Busters Club youth program
• •5-Stand Shooting - Sporting clays-style course that is regularly reconfigured to maintain challenge and variety
• •Pistol Range - Member-exclusive facility hosting USPSA and IDPA action pistol competitions twice monthly (May-September)
• •Rifle Range - 125-yard range with covered shooting benches and sun shade protection, members only
• •Archery Range - Popular 3D archery course that hosts several regional events annually
• •Fishing Lake - One of Michigan's few sportsmen's clubs with dedicated fishing access

All memberships are family-inclusive, covering your spouse and children under 18. The clubhouse operates limited hours (Thursdays 2-6 pm, Sundays 10 am-4 pm), with trap and 5-stand open to the public during these times. Members enjoy 24/7 access to all ranges during daylight hours (10 am to dusk). Members can bring guests and have unrestricted facility use.

SHFC hosts hunter education courses, Handgun 101 instruction, community fun shoots, and the annual SHFC Swap Meet. ATA trap shoots occur twice yearly with announcements via the club blog.
