West Michigan Archery Center operates out of the West Michigan Sports Park in Rockford, hosting year-round archery programming for youth and adults. The facility includes a 24-lane indoor target range, a 90-meter outdoor field range, and a 30-target seasonal 3D course.
Introductory Classes - Six-week Introduction to Archery course, $75 - Age 10 and older (younger with instructor approval) - Includes instruction booklet, WMAC equipment use, and completion award - 6:30–7:30pm weekly sessions, minimum 6 archers, maximum 20
Youth & Adult Training Programs
WMAC runs Junior Olympic Archery Development (JOAD) and Adult Core Archery training teams. Coaches are certified through USA Archery, and the center participates in USA Archery's archer recognition programs.
Competitive Leagues
Advanced Training Team runs a 10-week handicap league promoting competitive FITA archery. Head-to-head matchups equalize skill levels through a handicap system. Limited to 20 archers.

Scholastic 3D Archery (S3DA)
After-school program for ages 8–18 focusing on competitive shooting form, tournament etiquette, NFAA and FITA target scoring, and 3D animal targets. Students can earn college scholarships based on state and national S3DA event performance.
Adaptive Archery Clinics
In partnership with Mary Free Bed Wheelchair and Adaptive Sports and Kentwood Parks and Recreation, WMAC offers seasonal clinics for participants with physical and cognitive disabilities. All equipment and instruction provided. Contact Mary Free Bed Wheelchair and Adaptive Sports at 616-840-8356.
USA Archery Level 1 Coaching Certification
Certification class for aspiring coaches age 15+. Covers range safety, shooting steps, equipment repair, and archery program types. WMAC coaches who volunteer can receive fee reimbursement. Bows provided, though students may bring their own.

From Grand Rapids or northern Kent County: Take US 131 to the 10 Mile Road exit for Rockford heading east. After the Meijer complex, turn right on Wolven Avenue toward West Michigan Sports Park. The WMAC driveway is on the left before the baseball fields.
From downtown Rockford: Take 10 Mile Road west to Wolven (next traffic light past Childsdale), turn left toward West Michigan Sports Park. Same driveway on the left.
