Kent County Conservation League opened in 1929 and has been the backbone of shooting sports in West Michigan ever since. Set on 170 acres of maintained land, KCCL operates as a member-driven club with public access to several disciplines and member-only facilities for others.
Open to the Public: - Skeet & Trap - State-of-the-art fields where you move through eight stations (skeet) or shoot from five positions behind a single trap house (trap) - 5-Stand - Blend of skeet, trap, and sporting clays with five shooting stations and varied target presentations. KCCL rotates course setups throughout the year to keep it fresh - Sporting Clays - 10-15 station course that mimics real hunting scenarios across natural terrain with unpredictable target angles and speeds
Members Only: - Pistol Range - Multiple lanes with boards for paper targets, steel targets, and bowling pin targets. Distances up to 50 yards. Three-sided building provides weather protection year-round. Electronic/lighted cease-fire system at each lane - Rifle Range - One of the few West Michigan facilities with distances extending to 300 yards. Also features paper target boards, steel targets, and bowling pin targets at various distances. | Winter League | 12-week competitive season. Shooters choose: Skeet, Trap, 5-Stand, Sporting Clays, Pee-Wee (.410), Sub Gauge (20ga, 28ga, .410), or Triple Crown combo. Join as individual or 2-man/5-man teams. Complete one line per week or shoot ahead. 2026 marks the 75th anniversary of the league |
