Western Michigan Rifle & Pistol Club

Western Michigan Rifle and Pistol Club has served the Ionia, Saranac, and Belding areas for over 70 years. The club occupies 62 acres of varied terrain and draws members from as far as Grand Rapids and Lansing—kept coming back by convenient location, facility variety, and member friendliness.

The facility is fully equipped for: - Trap fields for clay shooting - Rifle ranges extending to 300 yards - Covered 50-yard pistol range (30 points) with concrete firing points and benches - Covered 25-yard pistol range with turning targets - Indoor 15-point heated range in clubhouse with turning targets - Silhouette, Archery, Muzzleloader, and Cowboy Action Shooting equipment

When no scheduled events occupy the range, it's open to general membership for practice. Each member has gate access.

Education & Certifications: - Saturday morning Junior Rifle Program (low cost, equipment provided, coaching included) - Hunter Safety classes (NRA certified instructors) - Concealed Pistol License (CPL) courses (NRA certified instructors)

The club is a 501(c)(4) organization funded by membership dues, match fees, user charges, and annual fundraising. It's run by a board of directors committed to maintaining Second Amendment rights through active participation—and they take safety seriously across the board.
