Dakota County Gun Club

Dakota County Gun Club (DCGC) is a well-established shooting club located in Rosemount that serves the local community with comprehensive firearms training and shooting facilities. The club is dedicated to promoting safe and responsible firearm use through education, training, and organized shooting events.

The club maintains multiple specialized shooting ranges to accommodate different shooting disciplines:

• •Trap/Shotgun Range - Dedicated shotgun stations for clay target shooting

• •MN DNR-certified firearms safety courses offered multiple times throughout the year
• •Evening classes (6:30 PM - 9:30 PM) for students ages 11 and up
• •Adults and parents welcome to register for certification
• •Field day components included in comprehensive training

• •Youth Shoots - Monthly events for shooters 18 and under, featuring .22 pistols, .22 rifles, archery, and trap shooting

Dakota County Gun Club actively supports DNR safety instructor certification, offering volunteers the opportunity to become MN DNR-certified firearms safety instructors. This commitment to education strengthens the shooting sports community and ensures the next generation learns proper safety protocols.
