Ahlman's opened in 1943 and has become the largest source of gun parts in the upper midwest. Located in Morristown, MN, they stock thousands of firearms and maintain one of the biggest firearm selections in southern Minnesota.

Ahlman's handles serious custom work across all firearm types:
Cerakote is an industry-leading polymer-ceramic coating that provides rust, corrosion, and abrasion resistance. It resists chipping, scratching, and most solvents.

Ahlman's offers two types of engraving:
Laser Engraving ($50-$125) - Best for fine detail and wood stocks. Perfect for pictures, designs, and intricate patterns. Creates a clean, precise result.
Rotary Machine Engraving ($50-$100) - Cuts logos or text into metal. Results can be filled with color. Best option for text and logos on steel.
Hand Engraving - Not currently offered in-house, but they provide references. Hand engraving creates one-of-a-kind artistry with scene work, relief cuts, and gold embedding, though costs run high.
Engraving turnaround is typically 2-3 weeks. Send photos, sketches, or flash drives with examples. Ahlman's will provide a quote before any work begins.
