Bald Eagle Sportsmen's Association

Bald Eagle Sportsmen's Association is a member-owned and operated shooting facility located in Hugo, Minnesota, serving the Twin Cities area since the early 1940s. This private range offers comprehensive shooting opportunities across multiple disciplines.

BESA provides dedicated facilities for:

• •Rifle & Pistol - Multiple ranges with shooting benches and target stands for precision shooting and leagues
• •Shotgun - Trap, Skeet, and 5-Stand shooting stations for clay target sports
• •Archery - 3D courses and target ranges with public shooting opportunities

• •Public Shooting Hours (April–October only):
• •Saturdays: 10am–5pm (all ranges)
• •Mondays & Fridays: 4pm–8pm (Skeet/5-Stand/Trap)
• •Wednesdays: 11am–3pm (Trap)
• •September–October: Sunday sight-in sessions available (check calendar)

• •Winter Closure: All ranges and grounds closed November–February.

BESA welcomes new members with an affordable structure: - $100 initiation fee - Annual membership dues (January–December) - 8 hours annual volunteer work required

Members gain year-round access, league participation, and exclusive events.

The range features a classroom for safety training, target stands, shooting benches, and comprehensive facilities for rifle, pistol, shotgun, and archery disciplines. The association maintains affiliations with the National Rifle Association and offers gun safety and conceal-carry classes.
