Minneapolis Gun Club

Minneapolis Gun Club is an established shotgun shooting club located in Prior Lake, Minnesota, dedicated to providing premier clay target shooting experiences for recreational shooters, competitive athletes, and youth programs.

The club specializes in shotgun sports with multiple shooting activities:

• •Trap Shooting - Traditional trap with handicap championships and seasonal competitions
• •Skeet Shooting - Olympic-style skeet events including the Hall of Fame Shoot and Vern Aanenson Memorial
• •5-Stand Sporting Clays - Dynamic course offering varied shooting scenarios

Minneapolis Gun Club hosts year-round shooting activities:

• •Club championships with historical results dating back to 2012
• •SCTP (Scholastic Clay Target Program) state competitions for high school shooters
• •High school pre-state qualifying events for trap and skeet
• •Seasonal league competitions (summer and fall)
• •Jackpot tournaments for trap and sporting clays
• •Special events including Ladies Day and Vintage Gun Shoots

Minneapolis Gun Club operates as a membership-based facility. The club maintains an active community with multiple leadership roles and offers scholarship opportunities including the Christine Lawson Post High School Scholarship and Jim Koester Honorarium Scholarship.

The club operates on seasonal hours (November through March): - Wednesday: Noon to 4pm - Saturday & Sunday: 10am to 4pm - Note: Cold weather policy in effect—facility may close if temperatures reach 0°F or wind chill reaches -10°F or colder
