Pistols Plus delivers Missouri's mandatory concealed carry training without the hassle. Their eight-hour course meets HB #349 requirements and Missouri State Statute standards, giving you everything needed to apply for your permit.
The course splits between classroom instruction and range training:
- •Safety fundamentals — handgun handling in the home, range, and while carrying
- •Marksmanship principles — proper shooting technique and stance
- •Firearm maintenance — care and cleaning of concealable handguns
- •Home storage — practical options for secure firearm storage
- •Missouri law — CCW requirements, firearm statutes, transfer rules
- •Use of force law — legal justification standards under Missouri statute
- •Live fire exercises — 40 rounds total (20 practice, 20 qualification)
You must hit 15 of 20 rounds on target at 7 yards to pass. Target is a B-27 silhouette. You can shoot standing or sitting—accommodations are built in.
You choose: bring your own double-action revolver or semi-auto pistol, or rent one from us. Either way, you need 40 rounds of factory ammunition (no reloads allowed). Eye and ear protection provided at no extra charge.
If you're new to handguns, don't own one yet, or want to try before you buy—Pistols Plus has rental firearms available. Ammunition is sold on-site.

Rescheduling: Need to move your class? $25 fee applies if you reschedule 72+ hours before your start date.
Pistols Plus also operates an indoor shooting range, stocks handguns and rifles, carries archery equipment, and handles NFA firearms and suppressors as a Class III dealer. Their gun museum and video library offer additional resources for shooters.
