Alliance Rifle Club has operated continuously since May 1949, making it a stable institution for competitive shooters, hunters, and firearms enthusiasts across the Nebraska Panhandle. The club maintains NRA affiliation and operates as a non-profit corporation governed by elected officers and a board of directors.
Glen Fiebig Range opened in July 2007 on 27.44 acres purchased in May 2007, located eight miles east of Alliance on the south side of Highway 2. This range is open to all members and designed for practice, sight-in work, and shooting distances up to 200 yards. Recent upgrades include rebuilt berms at the 25-yard, 30-yard, and 100-yard lines, with benches usable to 200 yards.
Hoffland Range opened in 1985 and features a 1000-yard pit with covered firing line. Located about two miles east of the Fiebig Range, Hoffland primarily hosts organized club matches. The property includes the Erv Huber Memorial Forest, planted to honor his decades of range maintenance work.

Matches are open to members and their guests. Contact individual match directors for entry fees and specific rules.
ARC hosts a spring gun show in February at the Eagles Club (1502 West 3rd St., Alliance, NE 69301). The 2026 show runs February 14-15. Vendor table reservations available through Guy Hielscher at 308-762-4318 or [email protected].

In 1987, Alliance Rifle Club received the NRA's Outstanding Club award—the highest recognition a club can receive—competing against 62 clubs nationwide.
The club was also recognized with the Alliance Chamber of Commerce Friend of Tourism Award (2013) for economic contributions through matches, gun shows, and training.
