Pemigewasset Valley Fish & Game Club is a members-only 501(c)(7) non-profit established in 1941, spread across 330 acres of rolling hills, meadows, hardwood forests, and mountain ridges. Most of the property is open to members for general recreation, including marked hiking trails and groomed ski touring trails. The forested land is managed under a professionally developed forestry plan to sustain wildlife habitat.
Rifle Ranges: - 300-yard rifle range - 100-yard rifle range with covered firing points - 50-yard covered rifle/pistol range - 7/25-yard open pistol range - 7-position 50-ft indoor pistol/rimfire rifle range with state-of-the-art ventilation, lighting, and heating
Shotgun & Action Shooting: - Trap range with raised platform for 5-Stand shoots (doubles as Olympic biathlon range) - Multiple action-shooting bays for Cowboy Action Shooting and Tactical Action Shooting (TAS)
Archery: - Field archery range with targets to 50 yards - 3-D wildlife target course (spring through fall) - Indoor archery accommodations at clubhouse
The Club sponsors year-round events open to members, with select special events welcoming non-members:
NRA-certified instructors teach small-group courses at competitive rates: - Pistol, Rifle, Shotgun fundamentals - Metallic and Shotgun Shell Reloading - Personal Protection and Home Firearm Safety - Women on Target (specialized courses for new female shooters)
A 40' x 80' two-story clubhouse features an upstairs meeting space with stone fireplace and knotty pine paneling, plus downstairs kitchen and meeting areas.
