Bath Rod and Gun Club has been the center of Western New York sportsmen for nearly 140 years. What started as "Brotherhood Rod and Gun Club" meeting in a church basement became a 96-acre facility that trains everyone from competitive shooters to law enforcement officers.
Outdoor Rifle Range - 20 firing points with covered firing line - Shooting distances: 50, 100, 150, and 200 yards - Portable benches for position shooting - Open to members 9 AM to dusk, 5 days per week - Shooting hours: 8 AM to 9 PM (county noise ordinance)
Skeet Fields - Three fields with radio-activated squad pullers - Sunday: 9 AM to noon - Wednesday: 3 PM to 6 PM
Trap Range - Two trap houses north of skeet fields
Sporting Clays Course - Wooded course on west end of property - Held 3rd Sunday of month, March through October - Club is member of Hunters' Tour of Western NY—hosts two sanctioned events yearly
Indoor Range (50-foot) - Open Thursdays at 6:30 PM during winter - 10 firing points - Armor plate backstop, 3.5 inches gravel-filled walls, ceiling baffles - Heated by wood and oil with ventilation system - Used for organized events and training - Summer: pistol moves outdoors for Cowboy Action shooting
Law Enforcement Training Range - Designed specifically for police training - 50-yard outdoor turning targets from covered firing line - Lighted classroom with blackboards and kitchen area - Wheelchair accessible - Used by Bath Police, V.A. Police, NYS Parole Officers, and Corning Community College

Facilities can be rented by members for family reunions, graduations, weddings, and retirement parties.
Membership Costs: - Adult: $60/year - Senior (60+): $45/year - Recently-returned combat veterans (up to 1 year): FREE
Every membership includes a raffle ticket for the November Gun Raffle—a different gun raffled each day for the entire month. Winners can take the gun or wholesale cash value.
The club has produced regional and national-level shooters: - Ed Vought: National archery champion - Lynn Stonier, Don Stonier, Dave Myer, Jim Peek, Jim Fodge: National-level high power rifle award winners - Sean Watson: Army's Advanced Marksmanship Unit member, U.S. National Championship Pistol Team coach and competitor - Multiple trap and skeet team regional championships - Exceptional pistol teams
The club has no paid staff—everything runs on volunteers. Annual workday held first Saturday in May for spring cleanup and facility preparation. Volunteer opportunities include kitchen work, event setup, newsletter, website maintenance, and ticket sales.
Best Time to Visit: Sunday mornings and Wednesday afternoons/evenings during skeet shoots. This is when you'll find members around and can arrange a facility tour.
Authorized Users: - Current club members - Invited guests of members (max 3 times per year as guest) - Competitors at sanctioned events - Law enforcement officers (for police range) - Household members of members under age 18
