Full description and what we offer
Coach Kim started shooting with her Dad on an archery range—and even met her husband Gary there. Now she runs Rigney's School of Archery as a place for archers of all ages, backgrounds, and ability levels to learn and compete.
Introduction to Archery kicks off with a 3-week course covering first shots, range safety, and equipment identification. Open to ages 8 and up, it's offered several times a year as a group class or year-round as 1:1 instruction.
Archery Basics focuses on fundamentals and shot process through 1-hour weekly sessions. New archers practice here, whether they're interested in competing or just enjoying the sport.
Competition Groups train 1-2 hours per session, 1-2 days each week. Archers compete in Indoor Target, Outdoor Target, and 3D events as part of the RSA S3DA Team and USA Archery JOAD Club.
RSA archers have included Professional Archers, a World Ranked #1 International Para Archer, 2026 United States Archery Team members, and accomplished Collegiate archers.
Rigney's handles Scout outings, birthday parties, corporate events, and church/family groups. Most sessions run 1-2 hours and include range time, equipment rental, and instructor guidance. Groups work best with 12 archers or fewer, ages 10 and up.
"Archery is an individual activity. RSA gives them a TEAM to belong to."
They work with para archers and blind archers. They work with all nationalities and both genders. Each family sets their own pace—how much to compete, what budget works, how far to travel.
Certified instructors range from age 15 to 60+, all committed to learning more about archery and mentoring others.
RSA operates by appointment only. Text or call Coach Kim, and she'll get back to you as soon as she can.
