Canandaigua Sportsmens Club

Canandaigua Sportsmen's Club is the Finger Lakes' premier family-oriented shooting facility, serving shooters of all skill levels since 1914. Located in Canandaigua, NY, this comprehensive range offers multiple disciplines including sporting clays, rifle shooting, pistol training, and archery.

Sporting Clays & 5-Stand Course - 40-acre dedicated course with 16 shooting stations - 48 fully automated traps with electric counters - Golf cart accessible with easy walking trails - Features standard, midi, mini, rabbit, and battue targets - Regular course changes from fundamentals to advanced challenges

Rifle & Pistol Ranges - Three pistol and pistol caliber carbine bays - Target backstops at 25, 50, 100, and 200 yards - Steel plates and target mounts - Year-round all-weather shooting capability

The club is a membership-based facility offering family memberships that include spouses and children under 18. Members enjoy unlimited access to rifle and pistol ranges, discounts on clay purchases, and renewal eligibility discounts. New members are required to attend a Safety Orientation held the second Saturday of each month.

The club partners with Rochester Personal Defense LLC and features NSCA Level 1 Certified Instructor Jim Catalfamo for shotgun and sporting clays instruction. Professional training courses cover handgun, rifle, shotgun, women's-only programs, youth training, and NYS pistol permit courses.
