Lowellville Rod & Gun Club

The Lowellville Rod & Gun Club was founded nearly 90 years ago and remains one of Ohio's longest-running sportsman organizations. Located at 6225 Quarry Rd in Lowellville, the club operates 100 acres of owned hunting land plus several leased farms with diverse terrain for deer and pheasant hunting.

Shooting Ranges - 50-foot indoor range: Seven shooting positions with adequate lighting and exhaust fans for year-round shooting - 200-yard outdoor rifle range: Covered shooting benches designed for high-powered rifles and muzzleloaders - Trap shooting range: Available for practice, league play, and ATA shoots with night lighting - Archery ranges (2): One with elevated platforms, one ground-level for field practice

Hunting & Fishing - 100 acres of club-owned hunting land adjacent to the clubhouse - Multiple leased farms with changing landscapes for deer and pheasant seasons - 10-acre club lake stocked twice yearly with trout and other species - Picnic tables and fire grills throughout the grounds

The club runs year-round events including: - Womens shooting pistol safety classes - Hunters safety courses - Youth group programs - Gun shows - Shooting tournaments - Teach a kid to fish day - Famous fish fry - Annual Christmas party - Family day events - Ladies League (LRGC) - active women's shooting program - Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP)

Facility Rentals

The clubhouse features a large meeting room and kitchen available for parties, receptions, and private events. Hall rental agreements are available for members and non-members.

Memberships are available through a two-step process:

1. Application: Submit online or print application 2. Interview: Conducted third Wednesday of each month at 6:30pm. Come 15 minutes early. The interview covers your background and reasons for joining. 3. Swearing-in: Happens at monthly membership meetings (first Wednesday, 6:30pm)

Background checks are conducted before final approval as a regular member.
