The Ukiah Rifle and Pistol Club is a members-only shooting facility spread across oak-covered foothills in Mendocino County. URPC operates five distinct ranges, each built for specific disciplines and skill levels.
Notable equipment: The club maintains a running deer target installed around 1948, used during annual Turkey Shoots in November and December.
URPC offers: - Hunter Education Classes - Required certification for California hunters - CCW Classes - Carry Concealed Weapon permit instruction through approved instructors (David Goodman - Mendo CCW, Kim Milani - Milani CCW) - Firearm & Archery Classes - Various skill-level courses - Competitive Disciplines - USPSA, Steel Challenge, Small Bore Target, Warhorse Shoots
Local law enforcement agencies use URPC for tactical firearms training. The club maintains relationships with multiple agencies for professional development and training events.
